NIHR’s Chairman and Second Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Discuss Ways to Strengthen Joint Cooperation
Eng. Ali Ahmed Alderazi, Chairman of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), has received MP Ali Ahmed Zayed, Second Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, where the two sides reviewed several issues relevant to human rights and the continuation of cooperation between the NIHR and the House of Representatives, which shall serve citizens and residents by strengthening, protecting, promoting, and developing the human rights system.
Alderazi expressed his sincere appreciation for the attention paid by MP Members to the House of Representatives to issues related to human rights and for their constant cooperation with the NIHR regarding updating the system of laws and legislation in line with sustainable development requirements and the relevant international standards in-force.
For his part, the Second Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives praised the NIHR’s important role in spreading, promoting, and protecting human rights, stating the House of Representatives’ full support for its professional work to contribute to the progress of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the human rights area.
